Happy Halloween!

Ah yes, one of my favorite times of the year! Halloween is the day when you can be anything, or anyone your heart desires. One year, I was Gene Simmons, and spent most of the night handcuffed to a police woman in a bar. Another year, I was Alice Cooper, dancing with Cruella DeVille. However, most Halloweens are spent working, either as a perfomor, or a roadie. When I get a Halloween off, I'm perfectly content putting on a top hat, donning some rock star make up, and passing out candy.

Celebrate the season!

Politics

Combining "Poly", meaning "many", and "Ticks", meaning "blood sucking parasites". Even though I'm sure that if voting actually did change anything it would be illegal, I still head to the polls every election day. Well, except for one year, when I could not decide who was the lesser of 2 evils running for Mayor. I refused to vote for either one, so I skipped it that year.

I really get a kick out of the candidates that promise that they have a plan to balance the budget. Politicians have been saying that for as long as I can remember, and NONE of them have delivered on it.

"Choose or Lose" is the slogan that they throw at us to encourage voting. Has every single canditate that you voted for won every single time? I don't think so.

I gotta go now. It's time to read up on this years candidates, and see who I'm voting against!

Just getting started

I have no real purpose for this blog. Every once in a while, I may have a thought, or an idea, or just an observation about:

Food, music, politics, work, movies, or just life in general.
